Very qualified machinist with diversified skills on most machines in the company's operation (both manual & CNC). Performs a variety of machining operations with close tolerances and a significant variety of parts. Can perform difficult set-ups and all necessary hand operations in order to produce a very high level of quality product. Conducts PM's on equipment. This position requires independent judgement with limited supervision and may be required to guide the efforts of others in the same or lower grade levels.Your Responsibilities Will Be:Operates industrial machining equipment, Manual or CNC lathes and millsPerforms equipment cleaning and preventative maintenanceHas the ability to use, read and interpret micrometers, calipers, and precision instrumentsSets up and operates machines to produce quality parts and or tools to meet production deadlinesMaintains quality and safety standards, keeps record, and maintains equipment/suppliesOther Job Duties As AssignedRequired Qualifications:Highschool diploma or equivalent; Technical or Trade college certificate3-5 years of machining experienceStrong attention to detail and time managementADA Requirements (For U.S. positions only):Positions in this function typically require typing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.
