Location: Birmingham, West Midlands (County) Description Experienced Brake Press Setter / Operator The company makes bespoke stainless-steel fabrications for the pharmaceutical industry. They are based in Tyseley, Birmingham. This is permanent job. Duties as a Brake Press Setter/Operator: Make one off components from stainless steel 1mm to 3mm thick, occasionally 5mm. Readand interpret technical drawings and specifications to manufacturethe component. Set up and operate Amada CNC brake pressmachine. Make tool changes and adjust machine settings for specific jobs. Brake Press Setter/Operator Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm. Brake Press Setter/Operator Pay Commencing on £14.00 to £15.70 per hour dependent on experience. This works out to £546 to £613 per week gross plus overtime. Brake Press Setter/Operator Overtime: Currently working 1 hour a day overtime from 6.30am paid at 1.5 with potentially 4 hours on Saturday.
