We are searching for enthusiastic and motivated staff nurses to join our Inpatient Services. We have individual specialised wards which provide care for patients over 65 years. Our dementia wards provide assessment and treatment for people of any age who have a Dementia diagnosis to enable a successful recovery back to the community or supported living environment. At present we have opportunities to work in either of these specialised areas.This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team within the acute care pathway. This role would be of significant interest to registered mental health nurses with a specific interest in physical and mental healthcare of older adults.We are looking for registered Mental Health Nurses who are driven to provide high quality care to patients, and their families with either a dementia diagnosis. You will assume the role of named nurse to allocated patients and be a central point in advocating for the best interests and care needs of your patient.We are looking for nurses who are approachable, compassionate and motivated with good communication skills and who excel at being part of a team.The role will include working alongside an experienced nursing, medical, psychology and allied health professional team to provide enhanced level of patient centred care aimed to support our patients in meeting their needs.You will become part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team with focus on assessment of need, treatment and recovery, while placing the service user and their families at the centre of care planning.You will have the opportunity to gain further training and experience working as a link nurse specialising in areas such as the Mental Health Act, physical health, and addiction.If you are driven to provide good quality care for vulnerable adults, if you believe in our Trusts fundamental standards then this is the opportunity for you.#TeamNottsHC comprises over 11,000 dedicated colleagues who #MakeADifference every day.
