Job Description Due to continued growth, our Lutterworth site is now recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. Working hours:4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm. Salary:£35,401 per annum. As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you will oversee operations to ensure service levels are achieved safely and efficiently. You will be a vital link in ensuring customer requirements are met consistently. We work with some of the largest well-known brands at this site, so customer needs and satisfaction are key in this role. Key Duties of a Warehouse First Line Manager: Act as the key point of contact in communication with administration, stock, and management teams to resolve problems within the warehouse. Prepare and complete shift handover documents fully and distribute data for seamless shift transitions. Manage operational performance of operatives using warehouse management system tools. Manage your team and ensure compliance with people processes and policies. Create training and resource plans with the support team to ensure relevant skills are available on your shift. Ensure all compliance requirements are met, including key control, key logs, radio logs, scanner logs, and MHE pre-operation checks. Complete all Safe & Legal checks and sign off monthly WM checks. Assist with weekly customer updates as required. Qualifications Proven experience in a FLM or senior warehouse operative role, ideally within a fast-paced logistics/3PL environment. Knowledge of operational and people management. Strong computer skills, with knowledge of WMS systems and SAP being advantageous. Ability to motivate and develop staff through coaching. Proactive communication and teamwork skills. Systematic and methodical approach to achieve project goals.
