Industry-Leading Training: Receive top-notch training to support our customers' asbestos removal needs Government pension scheme: Looking after your future - we use NEST Wellbeing Tools: including access to our Employee Assistance ProgrammeThe RoleResponsibilities Include:Overseeing and directing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning operations within the Utilities Sector Ensuring strict adherence to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines Providing guidance and leadership to the Asbestos Removal Operatives Monitoring the proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, and promptly addressing any malfunctions or defectsRequirements1 year minimum working in an asbestos removal and supervisory environment Full UK Drivers Licence Asbestos Awareness training Level 2 NVQ Operative or Asbestos Supervisor Certificate CSCS Blue card SSSTS or SMSTS beneficial PASMA/IPAF beneficial Level 3 NVQ supervisor beneficial CSCS Gold card beneficial You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied forSchedule:Working days are Monday - Friday. Overtime is available at the weekends subject to requirements. 40 hour working week as standard - some projects may require a 50 hour working week.
