Ensure financial integrity and compliance through meticulous month-end and year-end procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT accounting, maintaining accuracy across all reporting cycles. Provide commercial support across departments, attending internal meetings to translate financial data into actionable insights that influence operational and strategic decisions. Manage and optimise financial operations, including daily cash flow updates, payroll coordination, and oversight of accounts payable processing, ensuring smooth and efficient financial work flows. Champion data-driven culture by interrogating and analysing financial and operational data, maintaining dashboards, and continuously improving reporting tools to enhance visibility and performance tracking.ProfileOpen to experienced finance contractors who are now seeking a permanent role and ready to bring their expertise into a growing, fast-paced business environment. Commercial acumen is essential, with proven experience in interpreting financial data to support strategic decisions and drive business performance. Advanced data manipulation and presentation skills are a must, particularly in Excel and ERP systems, to deliver clear, actionable insights across the business. Ambitious and growth-oriented, with a strong desire to progress into a Financial Controller role in the near future, supported by a proactive learning mindset. Collaborative and communicative, able to work cross-functionally and contribute to a positive, team-driven culture while influencing stakeholders with financial insights.
