Offering 40+ hours of work each week.About The CompanyA well-established and family-oriented vegetable growing and packing business.The Job Role DetailsAs the Agricultural Machinery Operator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring efficiency and productivity in all agricultural tasks. This is a varied role that will require you to work with a range of machinery and equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesYou willOperate tractors, sprayers, cultivators and harvest machinery for fieldwork, including ploughing, planting, spraying, and harvesting. Maintaining accurate records for compliance and audit readiness. Operate and maintain associated farm machinery. Assist with groundwork, weeding, and general fieldwork as required. Support additional operations during peak times, including harvesting and yard work. Assist with the movement and transportation of materials, fresh produce, and equipment around the farm. Carry out general farm duties such as hedge cutting, rolling, and fertilising. Work alongside farm managers and other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day farm operations. Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.Ideal Person Skills & QualificationsYou will have / beExperience in the agricultural, farming or fresh produce sectors. PA1, PA2, PA4 and / or PA6 qualified - desirable. Skilled in the safe and efficient operation of spraying equipment. An understanding of pesticide application, crop protection, and legislative compliance. Forklift trained. Proven experience operating agricultural machinery. A full UK driving license to get to the site, as the farm is remote. Flexibility to work longer hours during peak seasons. A strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
