Farrow and Ball - Financial Accountant, Wimborne (37.5 hours per week)We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join ourFinanceteam inWimborneas aFinancial Accountant . This is afull-timeposition, with consideration forflexible hours .Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand known for richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using traditional print methods and high-quality ingredients. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown to include 60 showrooms worldwide and a global network of stockists.The success of our brand is driven by our dedicated team, from those handcrafting products to our showroom staff and support functions, all committed to providing a positive customer experience.As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for external reviews across our European operations, financial audits, and supporting continuous process improvements alongside the finance manager. Candidates should possess a strong financial background and ACA/ACCA qualifications.Key Responsibilities:Manage external reviews for our EU branch offices in France, Germany, and Ireland.Oversee the group internal controls process and lead improvement initiatives with our parent company, Hempel.Assist the Finance Manager with UK and group audits.Contribute to global corporate tax reviews and financial statement preparation for Canada & USA.Handle currency revaluations and corporate tax transactions in the ERP system.Lead IFRS 16 lease accounting and CAPEX impairment reviews.Review monthly consolidated Management Accounts and provide insights.Manage specific head office costs in the P&L, ensuring accurate month-end accruals and forecasts.Key Attributes:ACA/ACCA qualification with at least two years post-qualified experience.Strong knowledge of IFRS and FRS102.Experience with audit, preferably within global manufacturing or retail sectors.Understanding of consolidated financial statements across multiple countries and currencies.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Strong analytical, project coordination, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in ERP systems and financial compliance.Proven track record in process improvements.What We Offer:25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service).Annual performance-based salary reviews.Enhanced maternity and paternity pay.Staff discounts on F&B products.Access to retail discounts platform.Employee Assistance Programme, Health Cash Plan, and Company Sick Pay.Group Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, and other benefits.At Farrow & Ball, diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to our culture.
