Sheridan Maine is proud to be partnering with an established organisation in the Portsmouth area that is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on a temporary basis. This role offers varied responsibilities and works closely with the Head of Finance. Key duties include: Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual budgets Business partnering with stakeholders Overseeing direct debit processing Driving process improvements and identifying cost-saving opportunities Preparing and submitting complex VAT returns Supporting external audits and statutory account preparation Overseeing daily account ledgers The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Management accounting or finance management experience Experience supervising a small team (advantageous) Advanced Excel skills and ERP knowledge The ideal candidate will have previous management accounting experience along with hands-on financial accounting and audit support.
