South Holland District Council is seeking a Housing Services Manager, a pivotal position within our housing management team. The position is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2027, with the possibility of becoming permanent within the following six months. Recently awarded a C2 grading by the Regulator of Social Housing, the Council has strong foundations in place, supported by a Housing transformation programme focussed on innovation and continuous improvement. The Housing Services Manager will play a key role in shaping the direction of tenancy services across the district, ensuring residents receive high-quality, responsive, and sustainable services. Key Responsibilities Accountable for an effective, quality and comprehensive tenancy management service at the very core of our housing service Achieving high levels of tenant satisfaction and tenancy sustainment To lead, motivate and manage a wide range of core functions across tenancy and estate management including neighbourhood estates, communal areas and shared spaces, anti-social behaviour and complex tenancy cases, safeguarding and vulnerable tenants together with rent income and debt recovery. Contribute to the achievement of housing targets and objectives across all service standards and performance indicators Play a key part in taking forward our services and delivering a community focused housing service that puts the tenants at heart of what we do. Manage significant budgets and lead multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on service excellence and financial sustainability.
