The successful candidate will be wellorganised, flexible, enthusiastic and committed to working in a General Practiceenvironment. Interviews will be held on Thursday 14th August 2025. Main duties of the jobTowork as a member of the general practice nursing team, to support theorganisation and facilitation of clinical care in a holistic and proactivemanner. This role will involve acute on the day illness, chronic diseasemanagement including diabetes and the possibility to support home visits andcare homes. About usOurpractice is located in the market town of Kendal, on the edge of the LakeDistrict. We have a patient list size of around 11,500 patients. Our friendlyand motivated team has 5 GP Partners, 4 salaried GPs and an established NursingTeam who are supported by a friendly and efficient Admin Team. Applicants will demonstrate safe,competent clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment anddiagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The post holderwill commit to demonstrating critical thinking in the safe clinicaldecision-making process. They will communicate and work collaboratively withthe general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting thedelivery of policy and procedures. The concept of Primary Care, the organisationof General Practice and the roles played by other members of the team needs tobe understood. The post holder will berequired to work autonomously but under the supervision of and in conjunctionwith their line manager and GPs. The post holder will also be required to workwith clinical and administrative members of the Primary Health Care Team asbelow. Good communication and supportiverelationships must be established and maintained with patients, colleagues andemployers. Person SpecificationQualifications1.
