Job DescriptionJob Description NOW HIRING:SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER Greater Boston / Southern New Hampshire Industry:Food & Beverage | General Manufacturing Employment Type:Full-Time | Senior-Level Salary Range:$90,000-$125,000 per year, with opportunities to earn additional income through project-based bonuses and performance commissions. We are actively seeking aSenior Controls Engineerto support and enhance controls and automation systems across manufacturing facilities in theGreater Boston and Southern New Hampshire region . You’ll be an essential part of keeping production running safely, smoothly, and smarter — with the autonomy and backing to make real change. Your Impact: Design and implementPLC, HMI, SCADA, and motion control systems (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware)Provide24/7 emergency supporton a rotating schedule — including remote diagnostics using platforms like eWON, TeamViewer, and FactoryTalkTravel to regional manufacturing sites to support system commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgradesOwn and manage project life cycles from concept to startup — including electrical design, programming, testing, and validationDevelop and maintain control panel schematics and electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLANPartner with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality) to improve process reliability and efficiencyEnsure all work complies with food safety (GMP, HACCP) and electrical safety (NFPA 70E, OSHA) standardsTrain and mentor junior engineers and support staff in automation best practicesWhat You Bring: Certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field8+ years of experience in automation and controls — preferably in food, beverage, or general manufacturing environmentsDeep experience with PLC/HMI programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), SCADA systems, and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet)Skilled inremote troubleshooting and diagnosticsfor urgent support needsComfortable withon-call, after-hours responsibilities , and quick decision-making under pressureStrong knowledge of control system design, instrumentation, and safety protocolsExcellent communication, leadership, and project management skillsWhy Join Us: Competitive salary+ opportunities to earn more!Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off + holidaysOngoing training, certifications, and career developmentA collaborative team that values innovation, speed, and accountabilityReady to Own the Controls?
