Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive – so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.Job OverviewThis post would be ideally suited for a doctor, who has a minimum of 2 years experience in clinical psychiatry practice, and is interested working in a specialty doctor position in psychiatry outside of a Training position.A successful candidate would have the option of continuing ongoing work in a specialty doctor position, or considering the option of applying for Specialty Training in Psychiatry in the future.An alternative career path would be progression as a specialty doctor and with the possibility of gaining a Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) via Article 14 route once required experience can be evidenced in the future.The post-holder will work under the supervision of a consultant psychiatrist and will be integral to a multidisciplinary team, accessing local CPD activities as appropriate.Main duties of the jobDetails in attached JDDuties of the post10 PAsThe speciality doctor will work closely with the consultant psychiatrist and Multi Disciplinaryteam, and will provide clinical support for the assessment and management of mental healthproblems on a routine and emergency basis.On average 9 Programmed Activities per week will be devoted to Direct Clinical Care.
