You'll be based on site at either Ashford or Margate (depending on project), with the support of a regional office and commercial team. The role involves full cradle-to-grave commercial responsibilities, working closely with delivery teams to manage procurement, subcontractor accounts, valuations, and cost reporting on live schemes ranging from £5m to £20m. The Role Site-based QS role delivering education and public sector schemes Working across pre-construction, delivery, and close-out phases Managing subcontract procurement, CVRs, variations, valuations, final accounts Reporting to a Managing QS with support from wider commercial and delivery teams What they're looking for 5+ years' experience in a main contractor QS role Proven background on public sector, education, or community-led projects Solid understanding of JCT contracts and commercial documentation Confident communicator able to liaise with client teams and internal stakeholders The Company A nationally recognised Tier 1 contractor delivering refurbishment and new-build projects across the education, healthcare, local authority, and blue-light sectors.
