Day-to-day of the role: Responsible for cash collection on a ledger for large corporate customers for local and export accounts. Research and verify credit data on customers to establish or update lines of credit. Assess, recommend, and/or approve credit limits using credit agencies within the company's SLAs and your R&A. Investigate and resolve customer invoice disputes to facilitate payment or issuance of credit to customers, working closely with the Sales teams to close down disputes in a timely manner. Review customer accounts for aging of unpaid balances and pending orders, solicit payments on overdue accounts, and place delinquent accounts on 'hold' status until payment arrangements are secured.
