We're looking for a passionate and dynamic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our exciting Rapid Response and Intermediate Care Team, working in the community and in-patient rehabilitation unit. You'll be working closely with a team of Occupational Therapists as well as collaborating with Physiotherapists, Nursing, and Support Worker colleagues. If you are a final year student due to qualify, we can support you through our preceptorship scheme, which helps you integrate into the team within your first year of qualification. The service operates 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm, including weekends and bank holidays. Main duties of the jobWithin this role, you will: Undertake 6-month rotations into Intermediate Care, Rapid Response, and the In-patient Rehabilitation Unit Complete holistic initial assessments with patients Devise treatment plans aligned with patients' goals Liaise with family members, relatives, and carers Implement and deliver treatment interventions Conduct follow-up review visits with patients Delegate tasks to support worker colleagues Attend and participate in clinical meetings, team meetings, and in-service training About usAbout the Company We change lives by transforming health and care. You must have a full driving license with access to a car, be motivated, innovative, adaptable, and able to work flexibly across specialties. You need to hold the HCPC (Occupational Therapist) registration. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with a flexible approach, will ensure positive patient experiences throughout their healthcare journey. You should be confident using IT systems and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
