We also offer an optional nine-day fortnight scheme, allowing you to compress your hours if it suits the role.On-site parking (on a first come first served basisWhat youll be doingDeliver end-to-end procurement for a range of high-value and complex projects (200,000 to 25m+)Lead mid-value procurement activity (25,000+) and guide colleagues on lower-value projectsEnsure full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and public sector regulationsDevelop and implement effective procurement strategies across the organisationEngage with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and residents to deliver procurement with purposeConduct market research and pre-market engagement to inform sourcing plansMaintain and develop our strategic procurement pipelineProactively identify and manage procurement risks and opportunitiesWhat were looking forWere after someone whos confident, collaborative, and strategic but also detail-focused and driven by outcomes.Youll need:A degree in procurement, finance, business or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong experience delivering bespoke large-scale, end-to-end public sector procurementsDeep knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 (completion of the e-learning modules) and relevant public procurement legislationA proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and a can do attitudeFamiliarity with a wide range of procurement categories (facilities, development, repairs, back office, etc.)Delivered and lead on multiple open and restricted tenders (PCR2015) with the ability to develop the process for PA23Ideally, an awareness of contract management and driving supplier performanceComfortable using e-procurement portals and P2P systemsIf you hold specific qualifications relevant to the role, please upload them with your application.At PA Housing, we believe in respect, integrity, and accountability.
