Wellbeing Lead – The Amwell Care Home, Melton Mowbray Full-Time | £14.50 per hour | 40 hours per week At The Amwell, we don’t just care for people, we uplift them. We’re a luxury care home in the heart of Melton Mowbray, offering Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for up to 88 wonderful residents. We’re searching for a Wellbeing Coordinator who believes that great care isn’t just about medicine and mealtimes it’s about meaning. You’ll be the heartbeat of the home, bringing warmth, creativity and connection into every day. What we offer you: £14.50 per hour with paid breaks included 40 contracted hours per week 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on full-time) Paid DBS Uniform provided Free onsite parking Workplace pension scheme A home that genuinely values your voice, your wellbeing, and your ideas What you’ll be doing: Creating joy-filled days:From arts and crafts to music sessions, themed parties to one-to-one reminiscence chats you’ll design and deliver a rich programme of activities that spark joy and purpose. Putting people first:You’ll take time to understand what makes each resident tick their passions, stories, and what matters most and tailor activities to suit them. Building community:You’ll help bring people together encouraging friendships, celebrating milestones, and helping residents stay connected to their local community, families, and interests. Supporting emotional wellbeing:You’ll be a listening ear, a friendly face, and someone our residents and their families can trust. What we’re looking for: Someone who shines: Experience in care isn’t essential it’s your energy, empathy and enthusiasm that counts. You’ll light up a room and make people feel seen. Creativity and confidence: Whether it’s organising a garden tea party, leading a chair dance class or planning a trip out, you’ll have the imagination and drive to make it happen. Brilliant people skills: You’ll be a natural communicator, able to adapt to different personalities and needs including those living with dementia.
