Life at Advanced begins in an exciting environment, in a role that matters.Due to continued growth, we are looking for a confident Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Technical Consultant to join the Managed Services Business Unit within Advanced.We are seeking a highly capablePower Platform Technical Consultantwith experience across Microsoft Power Platform, Azure monitoring tools, and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE). This role is key to delivering low-code solutions that are scalable, secure, and supportable, while ensuring deep visibility into platform performance and user activity through Azure-native monitoring and diagnostics capabilities.What You Will DoWhat You Will DoDesign, develop, and implement solutions using Power Platform components: Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven Apps), Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse. Build and extend solutions within Dynamics 365 CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, etc.), integrating seamlessly with Power Platform. Implement and maintain monitoring and observability using: Azure Application Insights for usage analytics, exception tracking, and performance telemetry. Azure Monitor for alerting and metrics. Azure Log Analytics for querying logs, tracking KPIs, and diagnostics using Kusto Query Language (KQL). Develop and configure custom APIs and connectors to support integration with third-party systems. Troubleshoot technical issues across environments using diagnostic insights and telemetry data. Support ALM practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for Power Platform and Dynamics CE deployments. Produce and maintain technical documentation, contribute to architecture diagrams, deployment guides and run books. Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions that align with business needs. Implement governance and security best practices across Power Platform, Dynamics 365 CE, and Azure. Deliver Dynamics CRM solution customisation and configurations, workflows and reporting. Troubleshoot, analysing and where possible resolving issues where solution is not working as designed. Provide technical consultancy on new projects, enhancements and change requests. Deliver technical design to extend Dynamics 365 or Power Platform using plugins. Modify existing and configure new functions in line with customer requirements As a Power Platform Consultant you will use your own initiative to configure, test and deploy processes to specifications devised by the business consultants and project managers in a precise and efficient manner to specific deadlines Support customers solutions by investigating, reviewing and resolving issues raised. Ensuring customer satisfaction in delivering support. Liaising with our Partners and Microsoft technical support on issues within the product that are impacting customer solutions. Supporting the Sales team with pre-sales activities. Advise our customers on possibilities of automating their existing processes using Dynamics and Power PlatformWhat You Will HaveDemonstrable experience of working with and delivering projects using Power Platform and online version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE. Proficient in building Model-driven Apps leveraging Dynamics CE data model. Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Web API and extending solutions using JavaScript and plug-ins. Proficient in configuring environment variables, connections, and DLP policies. Understanding of security roles, business rules, and solution layering within Dynamics and Power Platform. Experience troubleshooting using telemetry and diagnostics data. Comfortable with DevOps and version control systems (Azure DevOps / GitHub). Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills. Experience with .Net, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML and Json. Experience in SQL is good to have. Desing and create Power Platform apps, canvas apps and flows to implement technical solution. Design, customise and extend Power Pages to implement technical solution. Design and build custom controls for Power Platform and Dynamics. Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to build relationships and manage customer expectations. Be willing to take initiative in problem identification and solution provision.
