School Catering AssistantHourly Rate: £13 Location: Methwold and Hockwold Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30-14:30 We are seeking a dedicated School Catering Assistant to join our team, providing excellent food service in schools located in Methwold and Hockwold. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for food handling and catering, looking to contribute positivelyto the school environment. Day-to-day of the role:Prepare and serve nutritious, well-presented meals to students and staff. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas according to health and safety standards. Assist in the setup and clearing of the dining area before and after meal times. Manage food supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is properly stored and maintained. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus that are both appealing and nutritious. Adhere to food safety regulations and school policies at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications:Previous experience in food handling and catering is essential. Level 2 Food Hygiene certification is preferred but not essential; training can be provided. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
