You will beemployed on a fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours a week, with time forformal study. A high percentage of our Apprentices are recruited into permanentemployment within BFS during and on completion of their Apprenticeship. You mustnot already hold a same or higher level qualification in the samesubject area. Main duties of the jobAs an Electrical MaintenanceApprentice, you will: Assist in the maintenance, repair, andinstallation of mechanical, electrical, sterile services decontaminationengineering equipment and building services systems. Work under supervision to carry outplanned preventative maintenance (PPM), testing and verification, and reactivemaintenance tasks. Learn to diagnose faults and carry outrepairs on a wide range of hospital engineering systems and equipment andundertake a multiskilled approach. Operateall relevant tools, machinery and test equipment Support compliance with statutoryregulations and NHS standards, including health and safety, infection control,and sustainability.
