As a Care Team Leader on our Dementia Floor, you will lead and support a dedicated care team to deliver person-centred, high-quality care for residents living with dementia. Working closely with the Care Home Management Team and Company Dementia Manager you will lead the way in dementia best practices including the use of validation techniques, life story work and behaviour support strategies to reduce distress and enhance wellbeing. You will oversee daily routines, manage care plans and assessments, run thekeyworker system, and ensure accurate documentation and medication handling is in line with best practices. You will collaborate with families and healthcare professionals, take part in care shifts when needed, and support team development through mentoring and supervision. Your role is key in fostering a calm, engaging, and respectful environment where residents feel safe, understood, and valued, while upholding confidentiality, ensuring compliance, and championing Adept’s vision of creating an outstanding place to live and work.
