We recommend submitting your application as early as possible.Main duties of the jobTo take charge of the ward and unit in the absence of Ward Managers/Unit Manager. Which includes staffing issues i.e. duty rotas.To take charge of the unit in the absence of senior staff.Act as key worker for a group of clients which involves assessing, planning and implementing of care. Planned one to ones dealing with sensitive and complicated information.To manage all nursing resources in the absence of the Ward Manager, through organisation and prioritisation of work needs.
