MET Technician - BackshiftPeterborough Prep CentreWork shift Pattern is 15:00pm – 01:00am (Monday – Thursday) and 15:00pm – 20:00pm (Friday) Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week Salary Base: £35,344 per annum, includes night shift allowance (based on experience) Gaining experience from colleagues in a professional environment Excellent working and team environment Uniform given, heated workshop and parking on siteDescriptionWe have a fantastic opportunity in Peterborough for a MET Technician, you will be working within our busy Bodyshop team. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a MET Technician at our National Preparation Site. The ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team. Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality standards Ensuring work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order Maintain high standards of house-keepingWhat we are looking for!As a MET Technician, you will ensure the repair of motor vehicles of all types is carried out to the highest standard. Ideal candidate should have industry qualifications or have minimum of 2 years’ experience in the role Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions Good time management, planning skills and problem solving skills Prior experience of working to efficiency targets Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work Ability to work as part of a Team Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work A full, valid UK driving licence is required#J-18808-Ljbffr
