We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our friendly team based in Milton Keynes. In this critical role, our Service Desk Analysts serve as the first point of contact for our global user base, logging and resolving IT technical issues and escalating them when necessary. This role requires clear and prompt responses to enable end users to perform their roles effectively. The RoleReporting to the European IT Service Desk Manager, the analyst will provide high-quality first-line support, handle inbound and outbound calls for business units, troubleshoot, log, and resolve issues within service levels, record activities in ServiceNow, monitor tickets, escalate issues to specialists, and create knowledge base articles for wider IT use. Additional responsibilities include escalating business outage issues and maintaining user accounts and security permissions in line with company policies. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer support. The CandidateTo succeed, the candidate should have previous experience in a 1st line support, IT Service Desk, or Helpdesk role, with familiarity in Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, Active Directory, hardware technologies, mobile devices, and IT systems management tools like ServiceNow. A willingness to learn new technologies is essential. Experience with Mac OS is a plus. The candidate must possess troubleshooting skills, analytical ability, ownership of issues, and excellent communication skills in English. Time management and multitasking skills are necessary to prioritize critical issues effectively. Experience2-4 years in an IT Service/Help Desk or 1st line support role supporting Windows environments, with experience supporting Mac OS being advantageous. Educational background in computer science or demonstrated experience across hardware, operating systems, servers, and networks is preferred. High attention to detail, self-motivation, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills are required.
