We’re currently recruiting for anOccupational Health Nurse Advisorto join a well-established in-house Occupational Health team in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering clinical excellence and driving forward wellbeing initiatives across the business. About the RoleWorking collaboratively with HR, managers, and the wider OH team, you’ll provide evidence-based clinical assessments and wellbeing support across a diverse workforce. The role is varied, combining day-to-day case management, health surveillance, and health promotion activity. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical case management in support of attendance proceduresDeliver health surveillance including noise, HAVS, night worker assessments, spirometry, and moreSupport with ancillary medical checks: eyesight, ECGs, audiometry, lung function testingConduct drug and alcohol screening in accordance with chain of custody protocolsUndertake capability and risk assessments to support individual employee needsCarry out home visits and workplace assessments when requiredDeliver wellbeing initiatives in line with company strategyDeputise for the Senior OHNA when required, including delivering awareness trainingAssist with private specialist referrals as neededWhat We’re Looking ForRegistered General Nurse (NMC)Degree in Occupational Health (essential)Minimum 3 years post-qualification experienceKnowledge of health surveillance processes and relevant legislationCompetency in capability and risk assessmentsIT proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsHAVS qualification (desirable, not essential)Willingness to travel for assessments when requiredWhy Apply?Work in a well-supported, collaborative OH teamExcellent location – based at Overline House, opposite Southampton Central StationCareer development and full training providedFree travel on specific services, with discounted travel on other TOCsComprehensive pension scheme and competitive salaryA dynamic, safety-driven environment where your clinical expertise will make a differenceHow To Apply:Click Apply Nowand send us an up-to-date CV showcasing your relevant skills and experience.
