This role is based at: Tottington Primary School, Bury (BL8 3HR) Working Hours : 22.5 hours Mon-Fri, 9am-1.30pm Contract Type : Permanent, Term Time only About the roleAs an Assistant Cook, you will work with a close-knit team to ensure the food served is of a high standard. You will be responsible for maintaining a quality catering service while covering for the absence of the Cook Supervisor. Supervisory experience in a commercial environment is essential, along with high standards of food presentation and excellent customer care skills.Possession of NVQ 2 in Catering or City and Guilds 706/2 in Catering qualificationand a current Basic Hygiene certificate are desirable. Please note that this position is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and you will need to cover the cost of £49.50. The payment will be deducted from your first four salary payments at £12.38 per month. If you do not start employment but the DBS has been processed, you will be invoiced for the full amount.
