One of our great veterinary team is relocating so we have a vacancy for a full time Small Animal vet. This role is based on a 4 day working week. Salary is negotiable, depending on experience, with an achievable bonus system in place. There is no Out of Hours requirement as we work with MiNightVet, Hillsborough for OOH provision. Our vets work 1 in 6 Saturdays. Ideally we are looking for a vet with some post graduate clinical experience, but if you like the sound of this opportunity, wherever you are in your career, get in touch! A normal day in clinic has a mixture of first opinion consulting, work ups and surgical time. We have a skilled, enthusiastic nurse team for support and have just completed a major refurbishment of our Balmoral clinic, creating a very enjoyable environment to work within. This post will require flexibility between our clinics, mainly Commons Brae and Balmoral, but with regular shifts at each so you have continuity with your patients. Our team has a wide range of skills in orthopaedics, scanning and endoscopy meaning we can deal with many of the most complex cases in house without the need to refer in many cases and we accept TPLO referrals from other clinics. If you have a specific area of interest we will strive to provide the time and resources needed to develop this. Professional fees and CPD allowances included as part of an attractive package.
