The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in an acute setting. While previous endoscopy experience is advantageous, it is not essential as we provide training and competency assessment. The role involves working within a large, dynamic team including Nurse Endoscopists, Gastroenterology Consultants, Colorectal/Upper GI Surgical Consultants, and a large nursing and HCSW team. This position requires active UK NMC registration. All staff are expected to work flexibly across all Trust locations as service demands require. Base Location:Poole Interview Date:TBC Poole Hospital Endoscopy Unit has 3 procedure rooms. Royal Bournemouth Hospital has 3, and Wimborne has 1. We perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI procedures, respiratory procedures like bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracoscopy, as well as complex procedures including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and participate in the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
