Base pay rangeDirect message the job poster from Vallum Associates Job Title: Infrastructure Delivery Lead, Middleware Location: London, UK (3 days/week Onsite) Duration: 6months+ Insurance Client Experience required Job Summary: Requirement of a service delivery infrastructure lead, who will be responsible for working with our managed service partner to deliver the following important responsibilities. These are my high-level thoughts and not limited to just these activities : - MW / DB estate is patched timely and kept current always - Plans to remediate EOL timely - Vulnerability remediation - Critical/ Zero day included - Ensure MW and DB platforms are built as per QBE standards - Projects related to the platforms are delivered on time and within budget - Hold managed service provider accountable for their deliveries and ensure that the deliveries are as per the SLAs - Maintains the security, confidentiality, and integrity of platforms through compliance and within the security framework designed with in QBE - Provide leadership to the engineering team - Manage a performance-based culture and work collaboratively with the managed service partner whilst ensuring that the service provide is held accountable for their deliveries - Coach and mentor the team where required - Provide technical guidance to the team on the platforms as required - Find opportunities to improve even if the activity is small - Look at opportunities to automate the processes - Has Service focus and problem-solving capability - Strong verbal and written communication capability - Develop and maintain relationship with various other QBE teams such as security, Application teams, architecture team, technical assurance team etc Platforms - Middleware - Tomcat, Web logic, Wildfly, Web sphere, Load balancer - Citrix Netscaler Secure file transfer capability - Globalscape Senior Delivery Consultant Office: 02033759240 Email: psharma@ Seniority levelSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment typeEmployment type Contract Job functionJob function Management Industries Insurance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Vallum Associates by 2x Get notified about new Middleware Specialist jobs inEngland, United Kingdom .
