This is a unique and strategic opportunity to become the firm’s sole Employment specialist, operating within a wider, supportive Litigation Team, and working closely with Corporate Commercial colleagues. The Role: You will take the lead on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including contracts, disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies, TUPE, discrimination, and Employment Tribunal claims. You will advise both employers and senior employees, offering commercially sound, solutions-focused advice at every stage. A key aspect of this role will involve collaborating closely with the Corporate Commercial team, contributing employment law expertise to transactional work and advisory projects. You will be responsible for progressing matters independently from instruction through to resolution, including representation at hearings and post-hearing follow-up where required. As the Employment law lead, you will also play an important role in supporting the wider firm and shaping the future direction of the practice area. Flexible working arrangements are available – this role could be part-time with flexibility, or a full-time opportunity for someone with a following.
