You will work across both development and production lines, translating design requirements into user-friendly manufacturing instructions and supporting day-to-day operations. The role also offers growth into areas like industrial validation, manufacturing architecture, and future factory principles. Working alongside the Principal Engineer, you'll support multiple projects with a focus on resolving manufacturing issues and implementing continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities: Support existing production lines and new product introduction (NPI) Assist with industrial validation (e.g. FMEA, process proving activities) Maintain configuration control by updating documentation in line with design changes Manage and support non-conformance investigations Ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively Liaise with health 'safety teams and COSHH assessors on process changes Collaborate with design teams to ensure designs are optimised for manufacture (DfM) Create and update Manufacturing Instructions and production BOMs Develop and manage tooling solutions What we're looking for: Education: A formal technical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) and HNC in a relevant subject, or A BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline Skills & Experience: Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on meeting delivery milestones Ability to interpret technical design drawings and convert them into clear manufacturing instructions A team player who contributes positively to collaborative environments Familiarity with digital communication tools for workplace collaboration#J-18808-Ljbffr
