AtParagon Social Carewe support vulnerable and challenging children and young people who are looked after by the council, who find themselves between longer term placements. We step in during these critical times of transition and supplywrap around 24/7 packages of support until a more suitable longer-term placement is found. Our support packages start at a staffing ratio of 2:1 up to a maximum of 6:1 depending on the individual needs of each young person. Our support packages can be anywhere in the UK, so we are looking for support workers who are highly flexible in their working life. This means you should be able to travel to various parts of the country and stay there for a few days at a time. This jobtherefore suits those who don't have large commitments at home. We are looking for support workers who have previous experience of working with challenging children and young people. However, we also provide all relevant training during your onboarding stage free of charge.
