Maintenance Engineer Belfast Salary: £43,000 + 15% shift allowance + performance bonus, overtime etc. Looking for a role where your skills actually make a difference? Were working with a well-established employer in the Belfast area a global manufacturer supplying essential products into the food and retail sectors. Theyve got a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, and theyre constantly investing in both their people and their processes. Theyre after a Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Youll be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, improving equipment where possible, and keeping the wheels turning across a high-volume manufacturing site. Expect a bit of everything: electrical and mechanical work, safety checks, audits, contractor supervision, and even cross-site travel when needed. Heres what youll be doing: Electrical and mechanical fault-finding on a range of machinery Using a CMMS to plan and log preventative maintenance Diagnosing breakdowns and minimising downtime Supporting safety and hygiene compliance across the site Helping develop SOPs and training others when needed Keeping up with tests and records PAT, fire safety, alarms, permits all the good stuff Occasionally travelling between sites (mileage covered) What they need from you: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (electric bias preferred) Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment Confident with pneumatics, inverters, robotics, safety controls, servo drives, etc. Able to read and understand electrical drawings Comfortable with fitment of mechanical parts belts, gears, bearings, shafts Happy to work at heights and in confined spaces What youll get in return: Salary up to £42k + bonus Company pension scheme Sick pay scheme Death in service Long service recognition Canteen on site Full workwear provided Ongoing training and development Want to find out more?
