On behalf of our client based in Ballymena we are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant This role will be full time Mon- Frid Job Duties: HP Liabilities Maintenance of HP liability schedule showing monthly outgoings Reconciliation of HP liability nominal to HP liability schedule Completion of HP liability nominal line item transactions description - monthly Completion of HP interest nominal line item transactions description - monthly Completion of monthly HP Liability and HP interest charts with monthly and YTD commentary Posting of new HP liability agreements into Sage Assist with adhoc HP Liabilities queries Depreciation Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register Maintenance of the depreciation schedule showing monthly outgoings Reconciliation of depreciation's nominals to the depreciation schedule Completion of depreciation nominal line-item transactions - monthly Completion of monthly depreciation charts with monthly and YTD commentary Assist with adhoc depreciation queries GMR & Supplementary Declarations Completion of GMR when required Ensure all paperwork is reported accurately and on time for supplementary declarations Purchasing Engagement with the production teams to ensure a good understanding of stock requirements Management of the Kanban system Ensure items are purchased and arrive in a timely manner Assist with ensuring items are purchased as the lowest possible price Assist with performing supplier price comparisons to help ensure we receive the lowest possible price Close out variance queries of delivery notes, purchase orders and supplier invoices Adhoc purchasing queries Inventory Management Assist with the management of inventors Assist with inventory reporting OFI reporting Weekly preparation of OFI charts Assist with OGI reporting Production Operations reporting Assist with building and producing a suite of production operation reports Performance Packs & Budgeting Assist with the preparation of business performance packs, monthly, year-end & budgeting Monthly Reporting Assist with month end reporting Completion of monthly stock adjustment journals Other Ensure a high level of consistency and quality is maintained in every task performed Attendance and contribution at the weekly 'under the roof' meeting Assist with any other business-related tasks required Essential Criteria: 2+ years of experience in a similar position Sage 50 Accounts experience Strong systems experience, particularly in Excel Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office is essential. Strong team player with excellent communication skills Strong administrative/ customer service experience. Experience in credit control, including handling telephone communications.
