Assistant Cutter Operator Role and Responsibilities: Cutting manufactured products using Strachan Henshaw Machine Maintaining quality assurance Using multiple operating systems to maintain the correct measurements and quality of manufactured products Understand use of making dockets and relevance of quality parameters Measuring dimensions, taking samples and transport products Check products against templates Ensuring that the quality requirements for the task undertaken are met Measuring, monitoring and reviewing the machine performance so that the deviation from specification can be prevented and corrected Once trained: Mentoring and training other team members in the above process The ideal Assistant Cutter Operator will: Ability to work as part of a team Strong time management skills Ability to work in a safe and disciplined manner Worked within a production environment Previously worked shift patterns Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques
