The School is based at the historic world heritage site of the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich and has a strong interdisciplinary ethos. The School prides itself on the support provided to students throughout their studies, enhancing their knowledge, skill set, confidence and employability. The candidate must have expertise in the fields of Spanish as a Second Language and Applied Linguistics/TESOL. You will join the Applied Linguistics and Foreign Languages programme team, working to develop our external and international profile whilst expanding activities related to public/social engagement. The successful candidate will module lead and teach some of the Spanish modules and may be asked to contribute to team-taught undergraduate or/and postgraduate modules on our BA H English Language and English Language Teaching and/or on our MA Applied Linguistics (TESOL) including seminars and marking and moderation of a range of assessments on our programmes. We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic individual who is committed to excellence in teaching and student support. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and experience of successfully delivering high-quality teaching.
