Project Manager - Capital and Strategic Programmes TeamRole ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for project management to join our Capital and Strategic Programmes Team, responsible for delivering various infrastructure projects across Kent. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of key initiatives to support the objectives of the Local Authorities. Your role will involve providing high-quality service by managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring exemplary stakeholder and communication management. You will manage and deliver projects within and across Directorates and partnership agencies, utilizing recognized project management methodologies to ensure effective delivery within deadlines and in accordance with existing and new policies and procedures. Requirements Level 5 Qualification or equivalent professional qualification in Property/Project Management (e.g., RICS/CIOB/APM) Experience working in a building industry environment Experience of multi-agency collaboration within the building sector Extensive experience managing projects from conception to completion Experience leading a team approach and encouraging positive relationships across the wider service High level of computer literacy Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications Ability to prioritize workload and meet tight deadlines This position is considered by KCC to be customer-facing.
