This role will focus on work with our external Editorial Offices. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal and external colleagues as well as cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, seamless system integration, accurate data gathering, and high levels of customer service at all times.How You Will Make An ImpactOverseeing day-to-day management of the peer review and Journal Editorial Office services. Supporting editor and admin performance across a segment of the Research Publishing portfolio. Using continuous improvement methodology to work towards workflow optimization, and support adoption of peer review best practices and standards.We Are Looking For People WhoHave experience in a professional setting; experience in scholarly publishing preferred but not required. Can ensure consistent application of best practices and assist in the development of continuously improving processes. Able to develop/maintain collaborative working relationships with peers, colleagues, vendor partners, clients, and others; managing conflict effectively, coordinating to meet shared objectives, and proactively managing change. Can establish rapport with clients, understand their needs, engage them in new opportunities, and guide them through changes, initiatives, and other projects. Show evidence of strong Customer Service skills. Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Be comfortable handling data in various formats.
