This is an opportunity to join a well-established, fast-growing haulage business with an excellent reputation for reliability, flexibility, and exceptional customer service. You’ll be steering daily operations, ensuring every delivery runs smoothly, and building a culture where efficiency and collaboration thrive. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of planners and drivers, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations Develop and deliver efficient, customer-focused transport plans with optimal resource use Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, maintaining calm under pressure Ensure all driver scheduling complies with legal requirements and working hours regulations Oversee accurate system updates and clear customer communications Monitor and improve VBS booking processes for cost control and efficiency Keep planning records up to date for audits and reporting Serve as the operational go-to within the management team What You’ll Bring 3–5 years’ experience in container transport operations management Strong understanding of driver hours regulations and transport legislation Proven ability to manage teams across planning and driver operations Experience with TOPS or similar transport management systems Confident user of MS Office or Google Workspace tools The Culture This is a role for someone who’s approachable, adaptable, and thrives on teamwork.
