The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.Duties Of This Role IncludeLead and coordinate the daily clinical operations of your department, ensuring appropriate skill mix, safe staffing levels, and effective patient care. Supervise and support nursing staff, allocating duties based on patient need, competency, and development goals. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, professional standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CQC, HIS, HIW). Provide visible leadership, support, and clinical supervision for all nursing staff. Work with leadership to manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective staffing and use of resources. Act as a patient advocate, supporting patient-centred care and addressing concerns or complaints swiftly and effectively.Applicants Should Meet The Following CriteriaRegistered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration. Proven experience in a senior nursing or supervisory leadership role. Strong understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, mentorship, and decision-making skills. Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
