Together, we are CAVU Whats the role?Conduct discovery research to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities Plan and facilitate usability testing (moderated and unmoderated) Work with Digital Analysts to interpret behavioural data and validate assumptions Run workshops with stakeholders to align on problems, explore ideas, and prioritise solutions Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs Contribute to and help evolve our design system and design standards Present and clearly articulate your work, process, and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design best practices Collaborate in cross-functional squads, working iteratively to improve and deliver value What we're looking for3–5 years’ experience in UX design roles, ideally working on complex web platforms Strong user research skills, including planning and conducting interviews, usability tests, and surveys Confident working with both qualitative and quantitative data to inform designs Experience designing end-to-end experiences, from early discovery through to high-fidelity UI Proficiency with tools such as Figma (or similar) for wireframing, prototyping, and design Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently when needed Experience with internal tooling or SaaS platforms (desirable) Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) The Perks25 Days Holiday, with the option to buy up to 10 more, plus 4 flexible bank holidays 10% Company Pension Annual Bonus Scheme On Site Gym MediCash Scheme A Host of Flexible Benefits & Discounts – including retail, rail, travel and more ID&E at CAVUAt CAVU, ID&E is extremely important to us.
