Position Location:London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA), Tower Hill & Aldgate Reports to:Course Director Hours:Full-time The Role As a Lecturer on our BA (Hons) Hospitality Management & Leadership programme, you will deliver engaging, industry-informed teaching across Levels 4–6. Your focus will be on leadership, innovation, and strategic thinking to prepare students for leadership roles in hospitality worldwide. Key Responsibilities Teach dynamic modules including events management, leadership, marketing, financial planning, sustainability, and customer experience. Contribute to curriculum design integrating current leadership theory and hospitality practice. Provide academic and pastoral support fostering confident, responsible leaders. Maintain strong industry connections to enrich learning with guest speakers, live projects, and case studies. Champion digital learning tools and hybrid teaching methods. Support student recruitment, outreach, and quality assurance activities. Engage in professional development and scholarly work to keep expertise current. Requirements What We’re Looking For A Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Hospitality, Tourism, Events, or related fields. HEA Fellowship or willingness to obtain it; teaching qualification or willingness to gain. Strong leadership knowledge in hospitality with a passion for applied, student-centered teaching. Commitment to inclusivity and understanding diverse learner needs. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and ability to collaborate. Experience in UK Higher Education teaching or hospitality industry training. PhD or professional doctorate in a relevant discipline. Experience developing industry partnerships or work-based learning. Involvement in student success initiatives or employability programmes.
