If so, an opportunity has arisen within the QVH therapy team based from our Rehabilitation Unit onsite at QVH. Being the clinical lead of the team will mean you will treat a caseload of patients, as outpatients attending the unit, but also includes delivery of rehabilitative therapy within their residence. The majority of the caseload is a mixture of frailty patients or those with chronic conditions including falls patients. The other part of the caseload also includes patients those with neurological disorders and amputees. Ability to independently travel around the local area efficiently is essential as the majority of sessions occur within the patient's residence in East Grinstead and surrounding villages (Lingfield, Forest Row, Felbridge, Copthorne, Crawley Down, Turners Hill, West Hoathly, Sharpthorne). As the joint lead of the team you will have the opportunity to evaluate the service, choosing and implementing developments across the service that are correlate with the caseloads evolving needs and wider therapies department. The role involves both clinical and management responsibilities which include completing PDR's, development of staff, performance management and recruitment and workforce planning. Main duties of the jobYou will be a specialist community PT who can deliver advanced clinical assessments and treatments to a caseload of adult patients on rehabilitation pathways. Your role will also include creating and delivering bespoke training to less experienced therapists, students, support workers and the wider MDT.
