Head of Finance and Commercial Performance Circa £100,000 plus great benefits, including up to 10% employer pension contribution, private healthcare, and a £6,000 car allowance (Work Level 4) Manchester City Centre (Hybrid) We’re looking for a Head of Finance and Commercial Performance to join us in Manchester. In this role, you’ll lead on all areas of finance and commercial performance for Co-op Insurance. You’ll be part of our senior leadership team and run our strategic planning cycle, including regular forecast updates and reporting for both Co-op Insurance and the wider Co-op Group. We’ll also look to you to manage the annual statutory audit and make sure everything’s ready for our Board to approve. This is a hybrid role, and you’ll spend around one day per week working from the office (find out more about our hybrid working policy at As our Head of Finance and Commercial Performance, you’ll also be responsible for pulling together performance monitoring reports for our Co-op Insurance Board, such as product and channel profitability, LTVs, investment paybacks, and marketing effectiveness. You’ll own our annual statutory audit, and make sure our senior leaders have the insights they need to achieve our long-term goals. What you’ll do • Own our annual strategic planning process for Co-op Insurance • Own the Co-op Insurance financial reporting requirements, including monthly reporting, regulatory financial reporting, half-year and annual statutory reporting etc. • Be responsible for delivering our annual statutory audit for Co-op Insurance • Be responsible for providing timely performance reports and guidance for partners across the wider business • Be a core member of our Co-op Insurance senior leadership team and contribute to an engaging and motivating working environment This role would suit people who have • Proven experience as an Insurance Broker within a commercial finance setting • An extensive background in strategic and financial planning • Experience auditing and carrying-out year-end performance reviews • The ability to constructively challenge Board-level investment decisions to make sure these align with strategic goals • The ability to manage ongoing strategic planning cycles, and experience reporting to Executive and Board-level committees Why Co-op?
