We’re looking for a dedicated Sole Charge Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Cockfosters Vet Surgery part of the Wood Street Veterinary Group. Make Wood Street Vet Group your next moveWe are a 5-branch brand with a main hospital in Barnet. We have facilities to include digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, dental x-ray & much more. We offer all kinds of surgery to include some orthopaedic. Our main hospital is in a fantastic location, and 15-20 minutes from all of our branches. We have a large team spanning across the 5 branches, with everyone sharing the load of branch work. Easy to commute into London, and easy to drive to and to park. The RoleSole charge position – take the lead on clinical decisions and case management A mix of consultations and surgery, offering a varied and rewarding caseload 4–5 day working week with no OOH, no Sundays, and no bank holidays 1 in 3 Saturdays (working with our experienced support team) Who We’re Looking ForSomeone who enjoys working independently but values team support when needed Excellent communicator who builds strong client relationships Calm, compassionate, and dedicated to providing high-quality care We recognise that our people are fundamental to the success of our business.
