College Protection Officer Location:Brighton Salary:£26,457 per annum (£12.72 per hour) Vacancy Type:Permanent, Full Time Brighton College is seeking to appoint a College Protection Officer to join our College Protection team on a full-time, permanent basis. Main Purpose of the Role:To be one of the first points of contact for visitors, staff and pupils visiting Brighton College, as well as on-site residents, on call officers and the nursing team. For this role excellent communication skills, whilst being able to manage situations in a calm manner, are essential. Candidates must hold a SIA Door Supervisor licence. General Duties and Responsibilities Provide five-star customer service at all times. Provide clear, concise and accurate information to all visitors, governors, staff and pupils in a professional manner. Ensure all interactions are handled with courtesy and respect, even in challenging situations. Provide Security/Concierge Front of House presence on College properties. To be proactive regarding the security of the College, Prep School, and offsite premises. To be alert for possible intruders. Man the Security Lodge when not required elsewhere.
