We are now accepting applications to join our outstanding team of course leaders. Who we are looking for? We are looking for ambitious, enthusiastic individuals who have a keen interest in professional development, who are a cut above the rest, and are experts in their own field and key focus areas, be that leadership, teaching & learning, pastoral & behaviour, mental health & wellbeing, student voice, safeguarding, sixth form, or curriculum 'subject specialisms. The Benefits for Course Leaders: Make a valuable contribution and enhance professional learning and development in the secondary education sector. Great personal and professional development. Recognised national platform to deliver high-quality professional courses. Give your own thoughts and expertise to support and develop colleagues in the sector. You choose the dates for your courses to fit in with your diary, leading anywhere from 2 courses per academic year to 30+. Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years teaching and/or leadership experience and/or at least 5 years examining experience (for subject/exam-based courses). Gained achievements in your area of expertise. Experience of successfully leading and delivering staff CPD sessions and/or student revision/study skills sessions (preferably whole school or at a trust/regional level). Know and understand what excellence in professional development is. Understand what good delivery of a course looks like. Have the ability to use creative flair and make a course attractive to teachers. Produce course resources to a professional level. Be able to ‘read’ your audience and adapt and be flexible during your course delivery. Possess good IT skills. Demonstrate excellent organisation and the ability to work to deadlines. Have a commitment to keep up with the latest themes, directions, and key issues in professional learning. Be proactive with new course ideas, take initiative, and think independently. Further Details: The role offers flexibility, allowing you to lead as many or as few courses as you like – from 2 per year to 30+. You can lead courses in any aspect of your key specialist areas. You will liaise with our content team to put together effective, relevant, up-to-date, valuable, and stimulating courses, making them attractive to teachers and leaders. You will create and prepare presentations and course notes of 20-30 pages. Courses are delivered face-to-face in London and occasionally online. Our scheduled teacher courses are delivered in superior venues, including 4* and 5* London hotels. We also offer ‘in-school’, bespoke, tailored courses delivered in schools across the country.
