Associate Director – Interior Design (Technical Delivery)Sector: Commercial & Mixed-Use InteriorsLocation: London (Hybrid – 3 days in studio, 2 days WFH)Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE)Software: Revit essential | Rhino a plusWe’re partnering with a respected interior architecture studio in London to find a technically-minded Associate Director—someone who knows how to get high-spec commercial interiors delivered on time, on budget, and with serious finesse.Who This Role Is For:A senior-level Interior Designer or Architect with extensive experience delivering large commercial and mixed-use interior schemesSomeone who thrives on the technical nuts and bolts of interior architecture, from detailed drawings to on-site problem solvingA confident client lead who’s guided complex projects from design development through to handoverA calm head who can juggle deadlines, manage teams, and still spot the detail no one else seesWho It’s Not For:Designers focused purely on concept with limited delivery experiencePortfolios focused solely on high-end residentialArchitects looking to “try out” interiors without solid commercial fit-out experienceWhat You'll Be Doing:Lead technical delivery across large-scale interiors projects, especially from RIBA Stage 3 onwardsOwn the process—coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teamsDevelop and review technical drawing packages in RevitProvide on-site support and coordination through to final handoverMentor junior designers and contribute to broader studio operationsSupport resourcing, budgeting, and pipeline planning with the senior teamWhat You’ll Need:A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or ArchitectureProven experience delivering commercial workplace, retail, or developer-led interiorsDeep understanding of building regs, fit-out methods, and technical detailingRevit proficiency is essential; Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD a bonusStrong leadership and communication skillsWhat’s On Offer:£60,000–£70,000 base salary (dependent on experience)Hybrid working (3 studio days / 2 from home)Clear progression path toward Director-levelA respected, collaborative team with a real dedication to quality delivery
