Join to apply for theCommunity Phlebotomistrole atNorth Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust We are seeking to recruit a Phlebotomist on a permanent 37.5-hour per week contract to join our existing Domiciliary Phlebotomy Service for North Tees. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic person to work as part of the team. The successful applicant must be clinically competent in carrying out venepuncture requests on patients in the community and demonstrate the ability to work independently. Please note that the applicant must already be able to obtain venous blood samples. The applicant must have a vehicle for this role and possess valid business insurance. The role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The post holder should be IT literate, as electronic systems are used to input clinical data, with previous experience of SystmOne being advantageous. The candidate should be able to prioritize their day and be familiar with routine blood tests and their clinical significance. The working hours will be on a shift rota over five days a week. Applicants must be able to access work locations promptly and frequently.
